Dr. Bowers brings extensive experience in political science, education, and community leadership. A retired Professor of Political Science & Legal Studies from St. John Fisher College (1999-2022), he served as Interim Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences and department chair. Dr. Bowers has authored multiple books on political science and constitutional law, and has deep community roots in Rochester, having served as Commissioner of Schools for Rochester City School District (2002-2005) and as a candidate for Rochester City Council. His commitment to education and governance makes him a valuable addition to our board.
