Peter Gray Executive Search has been selected and hired by the CI Board to find an outstanding new Executive Director for Children’s institute. There is no greater responsibility than securing CI’s future by hiring the right leadership. 

Peter Gray has a lot of experience and success in placing leaders of social impact organizations. He has laid out an extensive set of steps to ensure success, including visits to Rochester to meet with CI stakeholders, providing needed background on CI to prospective candidates, and attracting talent outside of our current existing networks. We anticipate the overall search will take several months and will provide updates to staff and others along the way.   

The search process will include the search committee, an advisory group, and the board. The search committee is responsible for interviewing and recommending a candidate to the full board. This committee is made up of four board members, two community members, and a CI staff member. In addition, there is a six-member advisory group, providing advice and counsel to the search committee.
